Here are some things that you probably (well, hopefully) didn’t know had names:
Columella Nasi: the bridge-like thing, bottom part of the nose between the nostrils.
Rowel: the spiky, star-like, spinning object at the back of a cowboy’s spurs, commonly portrayed being used to hit the horse’s butt to make it run.
Ferrule: the metal band which keeps a pencil’s eraser in place. You know, the part where you bite on when your eraser’s running out and you have to desperately erase an error
Keeper: the loop on a belt which hold the free end in place after it has passed into the buckle.
That’s all I have for you today, people. Until something interesting happens — like burgers raining down from the sky — trivias’ll be all that you’ll get. Ha. Happy trivia reading day to everyone. (I invented that.)
